Your current branding is deterring higher level clientele, and here’s why:
If you're offering a high level experience for clients but still attracting people that say "I can't afford that", then it's time for a rebrand.
What business owners often miss (I made this mistake early on) is how important visuals are to the buying experience.
Your service is lux but your branding says affordable.
I remember in my early years of building my business when I was in a major client transition period, and I kept getting inquiries from potential clients that in the end couldn’t afford the investment. I was scratching my brain trying to figure out what the disconnect was. I had created a client experience that women loved and raved about, so I had raised my price to match the level of service I was providing. But getting new clients to book at my higher rate seemed impossible.
What was the missing piece?
Then one day it clicked… how I presented myself online visually wasn’t matching the level of service I provided and the price tag. So I became very intentional with my branding, and even more intentional with my website design and client roadmap. My new online presence almost instantly started to attract my dream clients and vetted out people who weren’t ready to invest in higher level branding and website design.
I realized premium clients expect to pay more, and those types of clients are attracted to branding that feel high end.
Premium clients pay for an experience, and if your branding + online presence communicates “beginner” then they quickly know you’re not going to offer the experience they want to have and they will find someone who will.
If your business has grown to a place where you’re ready to work with higher level clientele that pay your premium pricing without hesitating and value your work, be sure that your branding and website reflects the level of work you provide. Your branding attracts ideal clientele and your website sells them on whatever your offer is.
